ResearchEd joins Higher Endeavor Network to Accelerate Institutional Transformation and Improve Student Success
Washington, DC
April 2nd, 2025
ResearchEd is proud to announce a new partnership to provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to institutions and intermediary organizations in their efforts to accelerate student success. Backed by a $625,000 grant over 20 months, ResearchEd will empower 110 higher education institutions engaged in the Higher Endeavor network to leverage the Postsecondary Data Partnership as a tool for data-informed institutional transformation.
Higher Endeavor aims to catalyze institutional transformation efforts including the realignment of institutional structures, cultures, and business models to create a student experience that results in dramatic increases in outcomes and educational value. The Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) is a nationwide effort to help colleges and universities gain a fuller picture of student progress and outcomes, meet various reporting requirements, and identify where to focus their resources. This data system, launched by the National Student Clearinghouse, features both early momentum indicators intended to identify students who need additional support sooner rather than later, and metrics to track long-term outcomes like retention, graduation, and transfer.
Higher Endeavor network organizations collectively support over 200 colleges and universities in their transformation efforts including the realignment of institutional structures, cultures, and business models to create a student experience that results in dramatic increases in outcomes and educational value. ResearchEd’s role in supporting these efforts will focus on facilitating learning across the Intermediaries for Scale; the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), The American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC), Complete College America (CCA), Excelencia in Education, Growing Inland Achievement (GIA), and UNCF, and the adoption and effective use of the PDP to better understand the students each institution serves and design interventions accordingly.
This initiative is supported by the Gates Foundation and reflects ResearchEd’s commitment to driving meaningful change for students in higher education through evidence-based practices and collaborative learning.
